“ We passed on this place last year as we have a small child, and thought that it was more a dive bar than restaurant. Boy we regret that! We tried it tonight after being told another place was reservation only tonight and we were glad we got turned away at the first place because it would have been hard to beat the food here. We will be back! Don't let the outside deter you from going in and giving this place a shot! The guys bathroom has a mini keg for a urinal which my son thought was the coolest thing ever when he peed in it and it made a tinging sound The mural on the wall was very well done as well! This is definitely a place that proves not to judge a book by its cover! ”

“ Visited with a group of friends in early June. We have friends who own a cottage in the area and had said that the Blue Eagle Tavern has the best burgers. We decided to give it a try and they are absolutely correct. The burgers and the service were fantastic. Our group of 6 were seated relatively quickly and the restaurant has modern management where the manager came around to ask us how everything has been. Will definitely be back when in the area. ”

“ On our way to Keuka Lake State Park We drove past this place without giving it a second notice, but later decided to go there for dinner as it was nearby, and most other places were closed. We made a really good choice to go to the Blue Eagle Tavern! Service was excellent and entertaining/friendly, and the food was exceptional! Mahi Codon Bleu? Excellent! As was everything else, from Tuna to burgers. ”

“ Wish I took a photo before eating. Best chicken I have had in a restaurant. Fully cooked but not dry. The sauce they out on it was incredible. Service was right on it. A little out of the way, but definitely worth the trip. ”

“ Lovely little out of the way place. Great service. Everyone had something different from a burger, chicken wings, salad, shrimp and french fries , and pasta. Everything was beautiful and delicious. They have a pool table lots of outdoor seating. We arrived and there was a beautiful rainbow in the sky. We even had pink margaritas to celebrate National ladies night. A really fun place for a relaxing night out. ”
